Diether Ocampo Lilipat na sa GMA7 Kapuso Network?

Nabasa ko kanina sa column ni Ricky Lo na lilipat na raw sa GMA 7 Kapuso network si Diether Ocampo. Isa sa top leading men sa ABS-CBN Kapamilya Network si Diet, katunayan kakatapos lang ng “Iisa pa Lamang” na pinagbidahan nya kasama ang ilang malalaki ring pangalan sa bakod ng ABS-CBN tulad ni Gabby Concepcion, Susan Roces, Joel Torre, Claudine Baretto, Angelica Panganiban, Cherry Pie Picache at Jestoni Alarcon.

Nagpadala ng text message ang PEP.Ph sa SVP for Entertainment TV ng GMA 7 na si Wilma Galvante upang tanungin ang status at kung may katotohanang pumirma si Diether sa Kapuso Network. “Let Diether make his own announcement soon” ang tanging sinagot sa kanila.

Ayon sa ulat, pumirma ng maximum 4-year contract (opo sagad pati pato) si Diether sa GMA7 noong gabi ng lunes, November 17, 2008. Unang magiging project ni Diether daw sa Kapuso channel ay ang adaptation ng hit Koreanovela “All About Eve”, kasama si Sunshine Dizon, Iza Calzado, dating kapamilyang si Eula Valdez, Jean Garcia at Richard Gomez.

Nagpaalam naman daw ang Star Circle Batch 2 Member Diether Ocampo sa mga Bigwig ng ABS-CBN. Magkikita-kita na sila ng mga dating kapamilya turned kapuso na sila Paolo Contis, Camille Prats, Jolina Magdangal, Marvin Agustin at ang bagong lipat na si Heart Evangelista.

Hindi pa man lang lumalabas ang unang episode ng Pinoy Fear Factor Argentina ay may naturang pasabog agad ang isa nitong contestant na si Jose Sarasola. Pinoy Fear Factor Participantes Official List

Pinoy Fear Factor Argentina will be hosted by Ryan Agoncillo.

Premieres November 10, 2008 (right after Betty La Fea), Pinoy Fear Factor will take the IIsa Pa Lamang Slot at Kapamilya Primetime.

The Pinoy Fear Factor version will use a format similar to Fear Factor Extreme (FFX) instead of the original “3-stunt, 1 winner per episode” format used in the American version. Pinoy Fear factor will consist of atleast 60 sets of stunts and a set number of contestants over a period of 15 weeks. Which means the show will last uppto Feabruary 2009.

Pinoy Fear Factor Contestants Revealed at Presscon

No more surprise Factor for ABS-CBN’s newest reality show Pinoy Fear Factor as they have already announced the names of the contestants during their press conference [no presskit here ] There are atleast four “celebrities” in the list. Uhm maybe to spice-up things. Phoemela Baranda - Star Patroller (nuff said), LJ Moreno (Alma rings-me-bell?), Janah (Wowowee) and Ram Sagad (Century Tuna Superbody)

Phoemela Baranda: Pinoy Fear Factor Contestant?

Phoemela Baranda went on vacation a couple of months ago. As far as I know The Buzz never made any clear statements where Phoemela have gone to. I do recall that Crista Ranillo and other ABS-CBN female stars subbed for her segment while she was away.

According to one of my sources, she was a challenger along with 2 or 3 other celebrities. This was also cited at Pep.Ph. Phoemela Baranda was also on their list with LJ Moreno.

I think sexy comediene Ella V. (villanueva) is in and Von Flores (Fil-Canadian Actor) is also on the list. This is just a hunch ayt (walang mang-aaway)

ABS-CBN Forum and PeX (PinoyExchange) members also zeroed in on the clue/ marketing strategy “The glam goddess. Host at model na takot sa ipis at daga.” as Phoemela.

With these hints, I’ve started to investigate using their Pinoy Fear Factor multiply photo teaser. Plus Phoemela Baranda’s Maxim Cover.

Finding these 12 finalists was the first challenge for Direk Lauren Dyogi and the people behind PFF. In the auditions held nationwide, hopefuls were asked to perform some small stunts and had to undergo physical and psychological examinations. Knowing how to swim and drive was also a strict requirement. There were also some contestants who failed to meet particular clauses in the contract hence had to back out, which further extended the selection process to almost two months.

These 12 challengers are set to leave by the end of August and they will stay in Argentina for a month. One will become the first winner of Pinoy Fear Factor: South America and will take home the P2 million cash prize and a house and lot worth P2.5 million from Avida.

ABS-CBN Suspends TV Host Cristy Fermin [First Read]

Breaking News, ABS-CBN suspends Cristenely “Cristy” Fermin’s contract on Sunday Showbiz Talkshow “The Buzz” and DZMM until December 21, 2008.

Last Tuesday, Nadia Montenegro filed a formal complaint versus Cristy Fermin for “Malicious and Slanderous deed”. Nadia submitted the complaint thru her lawyer, Attorney Agnes Maranan on October 14 at the Movie Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) office. Judy Ann Santos lilipat sa GMA7 Kapuso Channel?

Yes it’s a different stage both for Judy Ann and ABS-CBN. Me thinks this is about ABS-CBN haven’t been very supportive with any of Judy Ann Santos’ projects (Ploning & Matakot ka sa Kulam). I havent seen any trailers played @ channel 2 for both of her movies. (O baka madalang lang). I know this costs money, but for a “Priced Star” like her should Star Cinema consider her independent film production company a threat to them? Sheez. Lagi naman ata.

After having Angel Locsin and KC Concepcion sign for the network, Judy Ann’s projects (teleserye/ film) decreased. (Wag na sana magkamali magparamdam ang station na marami pa siyang project dahil obvious naman kumonti/ wala na eh).

Malamang na maimpluwensiyahan din siya ni Alfie Lorenzo ang kanyang manager dahil isa rin itong may “asar” sa ABS-CBN particular ang “The Buzz” dahil sa ‘di makatarungang pag-edit nito sa isa nyang interview. Anyway, Judy Ann also stated that she’s also considering her wedding plans before she signs a single contract. Hmm, come to think of it, maaring bitawan na din siya ng ABS-CBN dahil mag-aasawa na siya (ie hindi na magiging mabenta, sino pa maniniwala sa magiging ka-loveteam nya) at marami ding hindi boto sa Ryan Agoncillo/ Judy Ann Santos wedlock (ayon sa mga fans ha).

I hope he was pertaining to showbiz juize blog when he meant “Spoilers come from people who make it their business to ruin the show for others.” as far as I see it, the blog do look totally devious as it lacks a contact info nor anyone knows who the writer was. I was also highly suspicious as to why ABS-CBN’s TV Talkshow ‘The Buzz’ heavily endorses “the blog” despite the absense of a contact detail. Maybe this time, showbisjuice blog should come up with something and explain their side.

Paolo Bediones says 95% of it (blog write-up) wasn’t true. Is it about who won or how the story went out? Maybe Paolo should also be warned that if at the end of the show and JC Tiuseco loses, people might think that they’ve manipulated the results. If JC should win, it just means he warned the viewers only to save his *ss and for people to continue watching the show.
